ETS2 Coaches DLC Release Date Announced: The Era of Bus Driving Begins!

Dear Ets2TR community, the moment we have all been waiting for is finally here! SCS Software has announced the official release date for the game-changing Coaches DLC for Euro Truck Simulator 2, alongside an amazing official trailer. Fasten your seatbelts, because the era of bus driving on European roads officially begins on November 12, 2026!

Officially Licensed Giants Await You on European Roads

For those looking for a brand new challenge, the Coaches DLC introduces a totally new way to travel. This massive expansion brings three officially licensed coach vehicles into the game:

• Scania Touring
• Volvo 9700 DD
• MAN Lion's Coach

Each coach offers a unique driving experience with various chassis configurations, engine choices, interior trims, and deep customisation options. Alongside traditional freight, you will now explore the ETS2 world from a completely fresh perspective through passenger transport.

Passenger Comfort and New Driving Challenges

Driving a coach requires a different level of mastery compared to standard trucks. With passengers on board, smooth and careful driving is more crucial than ever! You must take corners gently, avoid harsh braking, and keep an eye on the G-force indicator to ensure a comfortable journey.

Balance passenger satisfaction with keeping to your timetable as you navigate busy roads, manoeuvre through bus stations, and pick up and drop off passengers along your route.

You can start with Quick Jobs to earn money or purchase your own coach to operate scheduled passenger services with multiple stops. Prefer something more relaxed? Tourist Jobs let you take passengers on scenic trips to famous landmarks!

What the Future Holds

SCS Software has stated that this release is only the beginning. Over time, the Coaches DLC will continue to expand with future updates introducing more licensed vehicles, customisation options, and features. Make sure to add it to your Steam Wishlist and follow Ets2TR for all updates. Happy travels!
