DBM Engine and Transmissions Refresh
92 engines, 4 gearboxes and a 4×4 option for every base-game truck, with the vanilla feel kept.
More power, more torque and higher revs, but with the stock sounds, the stock icons and the ETS2 feel you already know. Every supported truck gets its own tuned engines and gearboxes.
Engines

92 engines from 410 to 775 HP, in two lines:
SUPER EVO for power and heavy loads, and FE Line (Fuel Efficient) for low consumption.Every engine has dual torque. The boosted curve kicks in on the top two gears, like a real overdrive-torque truck (Volvo I-Torque, Scania overdrive).A wide torque plateau with no dips between gear changes. Revs go up to 3000 RPM and keep useful torque at high revs.A proper engine brake with 3 positions and automatic downshifting.Better fuel consumption on every engine.
Gearboxes

FE 25 Speed Dual-Clutch: tall gearing, very fast shifts, about 1000 RPM at 90 km/h. Shown as E on the dashboard.EVO 25 Speed Torque-Converter: a real torque converter that doubles torque when pulling away with a heavy load. Shown as P.PowerBoost 25 TC: a torque-converter box for heavy work.GODLIKE CVT 60 Speed: 60 gears with instant shifts. For fun, not for realism.Evenly spaced gear steps, so the automatic can skip three or four gears at once instead of going through all of them.
4×4 EVO chassis

A 4×4 option for every supported truck, built on the 4×2 chassis with both axles powered.About 15% bigger fuel tanks, a slightly lighter frame, and a price about 20% higher than the stock 4×2.Works with all stock accessories: cabins, tanks, fenders, side skirts, exhausts and the tuning DLC parts.
Recommended setup

FE Line engine + FE Dual-Clutch, transmission mode ECO: lowest fuel consumption.SUPER EVO engine + EVO Torque-Converter, transmission mode POWER: heavy loads.
Any engine works with any gearbox. These pairings are just what each one was tuned for.
Supported trucks
All 23 base-game trucks: DAF XF, XF Euro 6, XF 2021, XD · Iveco Stralis, Hi-Way, S-Way · MAN TGX, TGX Euro 6, TGX 2020 · Mercedes Actros, Actros 2014 · Renault Magnum, Premium, T · Scania R 2009, R/S 2016, Streamline · Volvo FH16 2009, FH16 2012, FH 2021, FH 2024.
Mod trucks (e.g. Scania PGRS) are not supported(YET).
Compatibility

Conflicts with other mods that replace the engines or gearboxes of the same trucks.If you remove the mod, sell or swap its engines, gearboxes and 4×4 chassis first, or the affected trucks can break in your save.
Game version
Built and tested for Euro Truck Simulator 2 1.61.x. It may also work on earlier game versions, but those are not officially supported. If you use an older version, test it before relying on it.

Every DBM mod is built to work on its own or together with the rest of the series. Recommended load order (top = highest priority):
